Cultural activities

The London Jewish Cultural Centre boasts the widest range of Jewish learning courses, events, leisure and cultural opportunities in the U.K., providing for Jews of all religious and cultural affiliations. It caters for around 1,500 people every week who are interested in learning about Jewish culture, history, opportunities for involvement in the community, politics, the arts and the Holocaust.

Those staying in Manchester may wish to visit the Manchester Jewish Museum. Located in the old Spanish & Portuguese Synagogue and the country’s only Jewish museum outside of London, it hosts interesting temporary exhibitions and a permanent exhibition on the history of Jews in Manchester.
