The Wiener Library

The Wiener Library is one of the world’s leading and most extensive archives on the Holocaust and Nazi era. Formed in 1933, the Library’s unique collection of over one million items includes published and unpublished works, press cuttings, photographs and eyewitness testimony.

We have a flourishing and vibrant events programme, which can be found on the ‘what’s on’ area of our website. We also deliver weekly tours of our Exhibition, Archive and Reading Room on Tuesdays at 1pm.

Over the Olympic Games, the Wiener Library will be displaying an exhibition exploring the German media and the 1936 Olympics. We will also be running an innovative programme of events in conjuction with the Olympics. Please visit our website to stay up-to-date on our upcoming events.
